Used the end credits theme from Airplane throughout to make the ad more seamless and fit through. And the end line is a reference to a line from the movie.

Put your volume up really loud for full effect. We wanted to play with long and drawn out awkward moments for the audience to feel uncomfortable.

BEWARE OF DRUG CHILD

I decided to do another ad for frank, this time I wanted to focus on child stars and how fame has had them end up in some pretty dire situations. No one wants to go to rehab.
The editing is pretty sketchy, but I wanted to get across the idea. The vibe is very much juxtaposing happy, childlike imagery with the harsh reality of adulthood. I used tabloid media to portray this. Anyway, enjoy.

SAMARITANS X TOM AND JERRY
I decided to make a more serious ad this time, I wanted to change the upbeat and child-like tone of Tom and Jerry and take it from another perspective, as it must be hard for Tom getting hit all the time:(((

Here’s another experiment using scenes from Zoolander to create a Wix advert.
Another edit
This is a play on the neverendingness of the whole brexit ordeal. Was gonna do it for the guardian but found out that they can’t do that whole newspaper smackdown stuff. So, need to have a think of how to make repetitiveness funnier, more buildup, and find out what kinda brand would do this.
Third execution
This one also needs an end bit. It’s some shoddy editing but need to sit on it and think a bit more of how to execute it perfectly in comedic timing. I sortof want a moment of the lizard looking around and then its like it has gotten dressed? We’ll see what works.
Having some more goes
Along with needing the end bit with the logo and stuff, this video needs a stronger kapow moment in editing and sound, it does have more buildup than the first try.
